- I always like meeting other brother Firefighters no matter from where, I have met Frederick at the Fallen Firefighters memorial in Ottawa Canada several times and would now like to be a member of this site. I have been a Member of the F.F.A.O NOW FOR 31 YEARS, I have been Sergent AT arms for 17 years and now look after all the regalia of the association. We will never retire.

PROBLEMS
What is happening with fire training today? I notice nearly every week we lose a firefighter on scene, is it communication? training? Safety on fire ground ? Are instructors really qualified? are Building codes re: roof structures being violated? Wall collapsing on firefighters ?
I think we should all step back and examine the education of recruits it saddens me to see these souls lost, in an age where the standard of equipment is the best and more and more tools are invented for…

Captain, do you remember Chief Vuletic from FirefighterNation? I am pretty sure Brad does. We used to have some seriously enjoyable exchanges there. He, like yourself, has a treasure trove of experience in the Fire Service. I hope he will see fit to offer to us some of his unique and interesting moments.
