Please follow the below link and read the entire posting so you can see how much time and energy was spent on being more concerned with criticism by our nations President than using one of the nations prime media outlets for helping the victims of this rapidly growing disaster that truly was beneath this man's rank & station.
Truly this man has the reputation, respect, and authority to help guide the Firemen and citizens of California to a positive end in spite of any criticism by anyone.
It is too bad he and others in positions of leadership in the Fire Service chose to take the "low road" and cry out about criticism's being leveled at those who are responsible for managing our nation's forests especially in light of overwhelming facts that actually support the criticisms.
For decades our national parks and other forest acreage across the country have been left with dangerous amounts of deadwood, thick brush, and far too many homes built with no rapid access for Fire Department personnel and equipment to reach them. This must change or many more lives and properties will be lost to the inevitable cycle of natural forest fires.
