Birds of prey, or raptors, are meat eaters., Websters dictionary college edition. An Oklahoma Paramedic is stopped and arrested while transporting a patient by three Oklahoma State Troopers because he failed to grant the right of way to the speeding crusier. Like Raptors the three triangulated and attacked the paramedic using brute force and screaming tactics to confuse thier prey while the patient lay in the ambulance helpless.
The crusier attempted to pass as the ambulance was navigating the high ground as all other motorists abeyed the law and pulled to the side for the emergency vehicle to allow it to travel in the middle of the roadway. Obviously two emergency units can not use the same center of the roadway as they proceed to two seperate calls. The Toopers were angered because the ambulance moved in front of them while it was navigating around a passenger car pulling over for them.
Paramedics, Firefighters and the general public must now fear those authorized to protect us.
With all due respect to the State Troopers of the United States who put their lives on the line when the danger is clear and present it is more and more obvious each time this type of activity occurs that the once honorable profession of police officer has become " judicially approved gang member" and we all must fear these people who have fallen from being our public servants to become nothing more than trigger happy cowards who "shoot first, shoot last and shoot some more then when everyone is injured or dead they ask a question or two".
All of this behaviour is then excused by their local magistrate by using the time honored reason that they " felt their life was in danger".
I feel that Troopers have allowed themselves to become nothing more than revenuers with only one purpose, to glean and unearned income from hapless passers by, preferably from out of state drivers as they travel the highways and by-ways of our nation.
I am not one to be making comments negative or positive frivilously. I have personally experienced being threatened with deadly force at the hands of these people and I was a cadet at the Connecticut State Police Acedemy 35 years ago so I understand the mindset and mission of this area of public service. I was encouraged to be a police officer by other State Troopers, my friends, because of my record as a NAVY officer and my physical size ( then the minimum height allowed was 6'1").
On an occasion in Indiana a State Trooper responding to an alleged domestic violence drew his firearm twice on me after I was granted the permission by him to set the auxillary power unit parameters on my commercial vehicle. The Sheriff stood next to me at ease but the halfling Trooper ( he stood about 5'5") drew down on me as I opened the door to the vehicle to flip a toggle switch as I stood outside of the vehicle with one had in plain sight palm up.
He later had me hand cuffed and seated in his patrol car and announced in a disgusted tone" I am afraid of you, what are you... seven feet tall and two hundred fifty pounds?" I replied no, I am six feet nine and two fourty. I realized then that I was threatened with deadly force just because he was a little coward. I was calm and quiet and never tried to upset the little tyke and asked him why he would be afraid of me when he had a firearm. He reported in a loud and gravely voice " IT'S A GLOCK!" Obviously it was his hip mounted penis extention.
I feel they are recruiting the wrong sort of people to be State Troopers now and the practice should be stopped. Our society does not need bullies or little people with an axe to grind who have a need to prove they measure up.
For the record I wish to state that the truth be told as I am not a person to batter anyone. All charges were dropped with no trial or court criminal proceedings of any kind as the facts were obvious to the state prosecuter that my accuser was using the good people of our justice system to perfect a fast track to her green card approval and some easy money. She has since to my knowlege been deported back to China. Gentlemen.... beware of mail order brides!
